Chibi Howl

I love the Miyazaki films and Howl's Moving Castle is one of my favorites, so it's about time I put up some fan art. This was obviously inspired by the early part of the film, where Howl is still very concerned about his appearance. I may sketch it over in ink and color it in PhotoImpression later. Or maybe even use Serif Draw.

I'm still playing around with chibi styles, which is why just about each chibi I draw is different. There are so many inspiring styles out there that it's hard to choose one I want to stick with...



Materials: copy paper, mechanical pencil, PhotoImpression4...Oh, and let's not leave out my left hand. It doesn't get used to often when I do my digital work. It's kinda hard for some reason to manipulate the mouse with it. Go figure...
