This was one of two kittens that survived being left out in the cold by my cat (who was a first time mother).There were four in all, but by the time we found them, only two were still alive. They were so cold that my sister and I had to hold them by a heater and rub them for several minutes. I was lucky enough to capture this one sucking his thumb!

edit: The kitten in this picture was only a day old. The mother didn't know what to do with them at first, so they were bottle-fed for the first two days. Sadly, they only lived to see three weeks old...
